• For MBA, MBA (Finance), MBA (Marketing) and MBA (IB) programmes, the merit shall be finalized as per CAT-2013 Score only. The cut off of 40 percentile is fixed for all categories except SC category where relaxation of 5 percentile is allowed.
  
  In case the seats in MBA programme are not filled through CAT, the HSB will hold its own test to fill the remaining vacant seats.
• For M. Com programme the admission shall be made on the basis of marks obtained in entrance test.
• For MBA Part time (evening) programme the admission shall be made on the basis of marks obtained in entrance test and one year working experience after graduation.

  • Admission to MBA programmes shall be open to all the eligible candidates who appear in CAT-2013 (On-line CAT-2013) and who apply on the prescribed application form contained in this prospectus (Application form can also be downloaded from the University website : www.gjust.ac.in, that may be submitted along with an amount equal to the price of the prospectus in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of Registrar GJUS&T, Hisar.
  • The last date for submission of admission form along with Admit Card duly filled in & postage stamped in the office of the Director, Haryana School of Business is April 21, 2014 up to 5:00 P.M. The CAT-2013 score of all applicants shall be obtained by Haryana School of Business from the designated IIM for the purpose. The candidates are required to fill CAT-2013 Roll No., CAT-2013 Marks, Percentile and Rank in the application Form.
  • The entrance test shall be of 100 marks comprising of multiple choice questions. The duration of the test shall be one and half hour. There shall be no negative marking.
  • The test shall include the questions from the following broad areas: i) Logical Reasoning, ii) Numerical Ability, iii) Quantitative Aptitude, iv) General English, and v) General Awareness.
  • The merit list shall be displayed on May 07, 2014 at the notice board of the HSB.
  • A candidate, who fails to appear in counseling, shall not be considered for admission. If a candidate is not in a position to attend the counseling in person because of any unavoidable circumstances, he/she can authorize in writing his/her parent or guardian to attend the counseling. (Annexure-B-XIV).
  • The candidate seeking admission in various MBA programmes shall be allotted the specific MBA programme in order of merit, preference shown by the candidate and the availability of seat in the respective programme.
  • Last date for submission of result of qualifying examination for establishing the eligibility (for appearing candidates only) in the office of the Director Haryana School of Business shall be Oct 31, 2014. This shall be applicable only for the candidates who are appearing in final examination in the academic year 2013-14. It may be noted that the candidates who completed their qualifying degree in the year earlier than 2013-14 and their result is late due to result of supplementary/improvement examination then they shall not be eligible for admission. In case the candidate fails to do so his/her admission shall stand cancelled automatically without any further communication. In such cases the fee shall not be refunded.
  • The counseling shall be held as per the schedule given on cover page II (titled important dates to remember) of this prospectus. The counseling schedule will normally not be changed. However, the change, if any, made for some unavoidable reasons, the same shall be notified on the university website. Therefore, the students are required to keep in touch with university website during admission days as no separate communication will be sent in this regard.
  • On the date of counseling all candidates are required to bring their original documents/testimonials along with three sets of attested copies thereof, three passport size and two ticket size photographs.
  • The candidate will be required to deposit the fee on the spot only after verification of the original documents on the date of counseling at Haryana School of Business.

Item nos. i) and ii) is payable once in a course duration i.e. at the time of admission.

Item no. iii) is payable every year and the insurance premium is non -refundable in respect of the student whose names are forwarded to the Insurance Company. The risk coverage for students on roll of the University on the date of accident will be as per terms and conditions of the Insurance Policy.

• The fee for the Ist Year is to be deposited at the admission time as per instruction to be notified at that time. Fee deposit Schedule for the subsequent years of the Course will be as under :
  Without late fee with late fee of Rs. 10/- per day
  15th July every year upto Ist August every year
  In case last date happens to be a holiday / closed day, next working day will be the last date.
• When a student is promoted late to the next higher semester after expiry of fee payment schedule and the student is not responsible for such delay, he will not be liable to pay late fee upto seven days of admission / promotion to the next higher class.
